Rules & Regulations

1. This is a family-friendly event, and alcohol is not permitted.

2. Upon arrival, please register at the guest registration table. You will receive a number sticker and a map showing where you can fish.

​

3. Present your number along with your fish to any of the judges. Judges and volunteers will be wearing shirts provided by our sponsor, Hvacdirect.com.

​

4. When you catch a fish, call out to the nearest judge. Judges are labeled J1 through J10 on the map.

​

5. Judges will record the length and species of your fish and will make all final decisions.

​

6. You must be 18 or under to win, but you can bring a helper or adult to fish with you.

​

7. Fishing will start at 4 PM and end at 9 PM. Judging ends at 9 PM, and no fish caught after 9 PM will be registered.

​

8. Awards will be given out at 9:30 PM, followed by fireworks.

​

9. Fish must be caught with a hook and not snagged or caught using a net, gig, or other means.

​

10. The top prize will be awarded to the longest fish recorded by the judges that meets the criteria described in these rules.

​

11. All judges’ decisions are final.

​

12. Fish must be alive to be recorded.
